Reporting to: Product Development Manager

The Product Developer role at Coracle is ideal for a software developer who has worked within front end and back end teams gaining good experience that allows them to realise fully fledged developments to the product

The ideal person for this role has a flair for creative problem solving and development within security conscious technical landscapes.

Working with the Research and Development team and reporting directly to the Product Development Manager, this role requires deep technical ability, innovative solutions, and a results driven approach to achieving tasks.

Responsibilities & accountabilities

  • Maintaining and developing the Coracle product stack, specifically the Virtual Learning Environment and associated applications including proprietary Asset Management tools
  • Support the creation of user stories, epics, work packages etc in the context of the project methodology
  • Ensuring the effective resolution of work packages and tickets created as part of the Product Development Life Cycle
  • Active participation in good change management controls and releases, ensuring effective communication
  • Ensuring product documentation is maintained and updated as necessary.

Experience

  • Worked as part of a software development team in a scale up technology company
  • Lead development projects
  • Working with and integrating APIs
  • Knowledge of security first development methodologies
  • Working within and optimising Product Development Life Cycles
  • Familiarity of developing within Change Management frameworks
  • Senior level stakeholder management
  • Taking part in effort assessments for the purpose of sizing projects
