Job title: HR administrator

Reporting to: Head of Business Operations

As a Human Resources (HR) Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our human resources operations. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR team and assisting in the day-to-day HR functions.

Direct Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Maintain and update employee records in HR databases (e.g., new hires, terminations, leaves of absence, promotions).
  • Assist in the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, coordinating with candidates, and facilitating the onboarding process.
  • Prepare and distribute HR-related documents, including employment contracts, offer letters, and internal communications (to include HR updates - movers/shakers)
  • Support payroll processing by tracking attendance, overtime etc
  • Support the processing of company expenses
  • Assist in benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries regarding employee benefits programs.
  • Coordinate training sessions and workshops/events, including logistical arrangements and participant communication.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Maintain compliance in line with all HR policies and current regulations to include ensuring all staff are DBS checked and have security vetting in place (where required).
  • Assist in the development and updating of existing and new HR policies and procedures (to include Health and Safety).

What you'll bring to the role:

  • At least 2+ years' experience in HR at Administrator level or above
  • A formal qualification would be advantageous eg. CIPD certification
  • You'll have a broad range of generalist HR skills/knowledge.
  • An ambitious mind set and want to develop your HR career.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
